This is for our bare root Photinia fraseri 'Red Robin' evergreen hedge plants.

You can choose between two heights 40-60cm or 60-90cm tall now and packs for 3 to 100 plants.
Photinia has dense evergreen green leaves with new plant growth a lovely vibrant red giving some colour and vibrancy to any space!
They are ideal for privacy and grow quickly - 30-60cm per year – just trim once a year in the Autumn.
These plants are hardy and also quite happy in full sun and anything in-between so is a really versatile plant for all parts of a garden.
If you don’t prune them before the flowers appear in early Spring they form lovely white flowers in clusters.
Photinia will grow up to 60cm per year in full or partial sun so will quickly make a tall hedge – they can grow up to 5m tall but are happy being trimmed from 1m upwards – we recommend you trim once a year in the Autumn to keep the foliage dense.
They will grow in most soil types although we don’t recommend for coastal areas as they don’t like salt in the air – Green Privet is a better option for this!
All you need to do is simply choose the height of the plants you want to plant now and the number of plants you need.
We recommend4- 5 plants per metre in a double zig-zag row for a thick hedge, but you can get away with 3-4 per metre in a staggered row if you don’t mind waiting an extra year or two to form a thick hedge.
We recommend you plant with Rootgrow gel – it increases the growth rate by up to 50% and really helps the plants establish.
Keep them well watered – especially in the Spring and Summer and in the first year of planting and regularly feed during the growing season for best results.
